NEW DELHI: Anil Ambani took a huge cut in his total remuneration from four main companies of Reliance Group in 2011-12. His payout from Reliance communications , Reliance Power, Reliance Infrastructure and Reliance Capital was about Rs 5.5 crore in 2011-12, lower by nearly two-thirds from Rs 17 crore in the previous year. He does not take salary from the four companies but gets sitting fees for attending meetings of the boards and also commission payable to directors.
As per the latest annual reports, Ambani did not take commission from R-Power, R-Cap and RCOM in the last fiscal.
