The doe eyed beauty Dia Mirza has won the prestigious 'IIFA 2012 Green Award' for her immense contribution towards a greener environment. Needless to say, since then congratulatory calls have been pouring in by the dozen.
Prominent amongst them was Justice Verma (Former Chief Justice of India and Chairperson- National Human Rights Commission), who, while congratulating Dia said, "Just heard that you have received the IIFA Green Award for your work in the field of Environment protection, which is a fundamental duty of every citizen under Article 51A(g) of the Constitution, though neglected by most. Congratulations & best wishes for more future laurels".
A visibly excited Dia, on receiving the award said, to believe that one can make a difference is the beginning of change. She also added that she hopes to continue to be a small part of a movement that believes in doing their bit for today and tomorrow.
